Letter from Executive Director KC Davis
Dear Friends and Family,
I hope 2017 is treating you well so far! With a new year comes new developments at Infinite Recovery I want to share with you. During 2016, we have grown from a small outpatient center to a thriving center offering three different levels of care. In November, we were awarded accreditation from the Joint Commission for both our clinical services and our transitional living. We also introduced three new tracks to our primary treatment program. We now treat trauma with specialized groups and EMDR therapy, address sexual compulsivity with specialized curriculum and workshops, and provide those with opiate addiction targeted medical interventions to control cravings and prevent overdoses. Beginning in February, our schedule will boast Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) groups for clients with co-occurring mental health diagnosis. As always, all of these tracks and groups take place within the context of our total wellness treatment and solid 12 step “by the book” recovery program.
Starting in 2017, every client receives individual sessions with a masters’ level clinician. With medical and psychiatric staff visiting the center three times a week, our clients are receiving dedicated support with medication management through individual appointments and group classes. Combined with our case managers and Life Trainers (peer recovery coaches), this comprehensive treatment team is providing unparalleled support for our clients.
We are truly excited to help meet the needs of the individuals you know suffering from this chronic illness in 2017. Our mission to transform lives through purpose remains our focus in this new year.
KC Davis, LPC-Intern, LCDC
