At Infinite Recovery … We believe that people are our greatest resource. That’s why we are excited to introduce you to our staff, one person at a time. This month, please meet our Executive Director, KC Davis.
My own experiencing in getting sober made me passionate about helping others see that it is possible. I remember feeling like I was a lost cause and that it would never get better. I want to help others move through that process and have hope.
I oversee the organizational management of the company, making sure that processes are efficient so that clinical staff can focus on the clients. Best part of my job though is the clients, because I am also a counselor by trade I get to see clients individually and do groups throughout the week. Staying plugged into the clients reminds me what it’s all about.
I sort of got into the industry by accident. I agreed to be a house manager for a friend that was opening up sober living while I was going to college. Ten years later I have a master’s degree in counseling and am executive director of a treatment center.
Editor’s Note: KC didn’t mention it, but she is also obsessed with her cat, named Tony. And from the looks of these pictures, the feeling is mutual. Don’t believe me? check out her Facebook page!
There are a couple of things about me that surprise people. The best one is probably that I used to have dreadlocks when I was in college. I actually got them while I was sober! Other things people may not know is that I got my counseling degree at a seminary and spent a year doing mission work in Guatemala.
